Good to know
- The mine stays at about 8 °C and the visit involves roughly 2 km of walking with slopes and steps: bring warm clothing and closed shoes.
- Children under 4 cannot enter the Salt Mine, and the mine is not wheelchair accessible.
- Salt Mine tickets have a fixed entry time, which your guide confirms when you arrive in Hallstatt.
- If the funicular, Skywalk or mine cannot operate, you receive a full refund.
