Overview

After a photo stop at Hallstatt's classic panoramic viewpoint, enjoy free time for the Market Square, the lakeside lanes and lunch. Then drive to Obersalzberg near Berchtesgaden and ride the official mountain bus and elevator up to the Eagle's Nest for wide views over the Alps. You leave Linz at 09:00 and are back at around 19:00.

Good to know

• The Eagle's Nest is open from mid-May to late October and can close in bad weather (2026 dates are sold until 31 October; the 2027 season starts on 15 May).
• The Eagle's Nest is closed in winter and reopens on 15 May 2027.
• Every guest needs a valid passport or travel document: the tour crosses into Germany.
• The order of the stops depends on the reserved Eagle's Nest bus time.
• If the Eagle's Nest is closed, you can choose a full refund, a new date or an alternative.
• Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start time.
